Frequently Asked Questions

  • This FDA approved laser technology works by delivering a 1280nm wavelength of light into the body’s soft tissue. The light penetrates 4-6 inches into the body. The light is absorbed at the cellular level, where it supports normal cellular function and energy production to activate your body’s ability to self-heal. Cells use this energy to carry out everyday processes that support repair, circulation, and overall tissue health.

The process is non-invasive and painless, which allows the body to respond in its own time rather than being pushed or manipulated.

Many people find this approach effective because it works with the body’s natural systems instead of overriding them. Rather than addressing symptoms alone, the light supports the environment in which the body can do what it already knows how to do more efficiently.

This is achieved through a process called photo-bio-modulation.

  • Laser sessions are non-invasive and are generally described by clients as gentle, calming, and deeply relaxing. Most people feel little to no discomfort during a session. Common sensations may include warmth, tingling, or a subtle pulsing feeling as the body responds to the light. As with any wellness modality, individual experiences can vary. Your comfort and safety are always prioritized, and sessions can be adjusted based on how your body feels.

  • This laser therapy is designed to support the body’s soft tissue, which makes up approximately 60–70% of the human body and includes fascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, veins, arteries and organs. Because soft tissue plays a key, central role in movement, circulation, communication, and healing, supporting it can have wide-reaching effects throughout the body.

These sessions may be supportive for individuals experiencing chronic or acute pain, including joint pain, muscle tension, scar tissue, nerve irritation, lingering injuries, soreness, inflammation, and orthopedic and sports injuries.

Many people seek this modality to support tissue recovery following injury, overuse, or physical stress, as well as before or after surgical procedures as part of a broader wellness plan.

This light-based therapy is also commonly used to support neurological and nervous system balance, and many people report benefits related to brain fog, stress, anxiety, sleep concerns, and headaches. Others explore it for support with wound healing, burns, lung and respiratory challenges, digestive concerns, and overall cellular vitality.

Athletes and active individuals may use this therapy as part of sports recovery, injury prevention, or performance support. It is also used proactively by those who are interested in optimizing tissue health, circulation, and overall well-being.

As with any wellness modality, individual experiences vary, and sessions are always tailored with comfort, safety, and the body’s natural responses in mind.

  • Depending on the area we are working on you may need to move your item of clothing or remove it all together. For example, if we are working on your back, you can either remove your shirt or lift it up. We have a robe, and other body coverings to make sure clients are comfortable, and we can treat the area effectively.

  • Most people experience little to no side effects from the laser wellness sessions. When effects do occur, they are typically mild and temporary.

Some individuals may notice temporary redness or warmth in the area treated, which usually resolves quickly. In cases of chronic or long-standing issues, there may be a short-term increase in sensation or discomfort as the tissue responds and reorganizes. This response is sometimes referred to as “rebounding” and is generally short-lived, often resolving by the second or third session.

It is also common for people to notice an increased desire for water, protein, or rest following a session, as the body engages its natural recovery and repair processes. Staying hydrated and well-nourished after a session is encouraged.

As with any wellness modality, individual responses can vary. Sessions are always adjusted based on comfort, and clients are encouraged to communicate any sensations they notice so care can be tailored appropriately.

  • Sessions typically last 15–20 minutes per body area treated. One body area refers to a specific region, such as one shoulder, one knee, or one hip. If multiple areas need to be addressed then we will fit what we can into one session but other treatments will be needed.

When you arrive at the space, we’ll begin with a brief orientation to the technology so you feel comfortable and informed. We’ll then review your intake form and hear about your primary concerns and intentions for the session.

During the session, you’ll be positioned comfortably while the light-based technology is applied to the targeted area. The experience is generally calm and relaxing, and many people choose to rest quietly during this time.

If you are receiving support for areas such as the shoulders, chest, or lungs, you will be provided with a robe to wear during the session. For work on the lower body, such as hips, knees, legs, or ankles, please wear shorts or loose-fitting pants that can be easily rolled up to allow access to the treatment area.

Our goal is to create a comfortable, respectful, and supportive environment while tailoring each session to your needs.

  • You may experience immediate results, you may experience results over night, or over a few days. It really depends on the area you are treating and how long the issue has impacted you.  In some cases 3 sessions will clear up an acute issue.  In other cases a more long-term treatment plan is needed.  We will discuss this in detail at your session.

Yes, there may be some recovery time.  If we are treating an area that has been in pain for a significant amount of time, you may experience some soreness after your treatment.  This could be for a few reasons.

    1) The damaged cells are repairing in real time, and this new activity can lead to a bit of
    soreness.

    2) The muscles around the area are compensating for the treatment area and they are
now being given a break which could lead to some new sensations.

3)Your cells have just undergone a major workout!  Just like going to the gym, you might
    naturally be a little sore.

After every session, you should drink plenty of water, eat an additional 10 grams of protein.  A great night’s sleep is a very, very common side effect!

  • The ideal frequency of sessions depends on your individual goals, the nature of what you’re experiencing, and how your cells respond to the therapy. We take a personalized approach and adjust recommendations based on your feedback and progress.

For chronic concerns, generally defined as issues present for longer than eight months, we often recommend three to five sessions during the first week to help support the tissue and nervous system. From there, we monitor how you’re feeling and adjust the frequency as your body responds, typically tapering sessions over time.

For more acute concerns, generally present for less than eight months, we commonly recommend around three sessions during the first week to support the body’s natural recovery process.

In both cases, many people benefit from ongoing maintenance sessions one to three times per week, depending on lifestyle, activity level, and your wellness goals.  For more severe issues we can see you up to two times in a single day.

As with any wellness modality, individual responses vary, and session frequency is always adjusted to support comfort, sustainability, and long-term well-being.

  • Laser wellness sessions are generally considered compatible with most medications, and there are no commonly known contraindications with medications that we are aware of. Many people receive sessions while continuing their existing prescriptions and/or supplements.

That said, everyone’s health history is unique. If you have specific concerns, are taking medications that affect light sensitivity, or are under active medical care, we encourage you to consult with your prescribing provider and let us know so we can tailor sessions appropriately.

Your comfort and safety are always prioritized, and sessions can be adjusted based on your individual needs.

  • Chronic issues are generally considered concerns that have been present for eight months or longer. Many people with long-standing conditions choose light-based wellness therapy because it is gentle, non-invasive, and supportive of the body over time.

Laser therapy is often used in chronic situations because the light energy is absorbed at the cellular level, where it can support mitochondrial function. Mitochondria play a key role in cellular energy production, helping cells more efficiently generate ATP, the energy needed for everyday cellular processes, including repair, recovery, and overall tissue function.

Because chronic concerns often develop gradually and involve multiple layers of tissue and nervous system adaptation, consistent sessions are typically recommended, along with patience and attentive listening to the body. Many clients appreciate this modality as part of a broader, supportive wellness approach rather than a quick fix.

Individual experiences vary, and we work collaboratively to monitor how your body responds and adjust sessions to best support your goals.

  • Yes, laser therapy is often used to support the body during new or recent injuries. Acute concerns are generally considered issues that have developed more recently and may involve inflammation, tissue stress, or irritation.

Light therapy works at the cellular level and is commonly used to support circulation, tissue response, and cellular energy production. By supporting mitochondrial function and ATP production, light-based therapy may help the body more efficiently carry out its natural repair and recovery processes during the early stages of injury.

Because recent injuries are often more responsive, people may notice changes more quickly than with long-standing concerns. Session frequency is typically adjusted based on the nature of the injury and how the body responds over time.

As with all wellness services, individual experiences vary, and sessions are always tailored to comfort, safety, and your specific goals.

  • Yes, laser therapy sessions can be used safely around areas that contain surgical hardware such as joint replacements, plates or screws.

If you have an implanted medical device, such as a pacemaker, neurostimulator, insulin pump, or other electronic implant, it’s important to let us know before your session. We will not laser directly or indirectly the region of the implant.

If you have questions or concerns, we encourage you to consult with your medical provider and share relevant information with us so we can tailor your session appropriately. Your safety and comfort are always our priority.

  • Laser therapy is commonly used to support the body’s natural wound-healing processes. Because the light is non-invasive or makes direct contact with the skin, it is often applied around and above the wound to support tissue response, circulation, and cellular activity.

Sessions are always adapted to ensure the area is treated gently and appropriately, and care is taken to maintain cleanliness and comfort throughout the process. The approach may differ depending on the type, size, and stage of the wound.

If you have an open wound, we encourage you to let us know in advance so we can determine the best way to support you. For complex wounds or wounds under active medical care, coordination with your healthcare provider may be recommended.

As with all services, individual experiences vary, and sessions are tailored with safety and the body’s healing capacity in mind.

  • Laser therapy is often used as part of a post-surgical recovery plan to support tissue response, circulation, which then increases recovery time.

We recommend waiting 6–8 weeks after surgery before beginning laser sessions.

Once the body has moved through the early healing phase, sessions can be tailored to support comfort, tissue recovery, and overall well-being as the body continues to heal.

  • Some individuals who are currently living with cancer, or who are in recovery after cancer treatment, choose to explore laser sessions as a supportive and gentle modality to support their health.

These sessions are focused on comfort, relaxation, and overall well-being and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent cancer.

  • If you have been diagnosed with epilepsy or any other seizure causing conditions you should not get treated.

If the seizures are caused by a temporary condition, i.e diabetic seizure, injury to the head, we can discuss on a case by case basis.

  • If you currently have or had a blood clot, we will not treat that area of the body. We can treat other areas that are not affected by the blood clot.

  • Yes, children can get treated 2 years and up.

  • Yes, however, we do not directly or indirectly laser around the womb.

  • Whereas red light therapy is conducted with LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes).  LEDs deliver much less energy than our laser.  Also, red-light therapy has a lower absorption rate so it does not penetrate as deep.  For that reason red-light therapy is used a lot in cosmetic procedures because the light is absorbed closer to the skin’s surface.

  • There are three key differences between our laser and other class IV lasers on the market.

1.Our laser delivers a consistent 44w beam during the entire treatment time.  Every other laser on the market delivers pulses of light.  This is the highest averaged wattage on the market.  Compared to other lasers our consistent beam delivers over 2000% more laser contact to your cells.

    2. Our laser is engineered with a proprietary wavelength configuration.  This wavelength has a low peak distance of 1280 nM.  This allows our laser to go deeper than any other laser on the market, passing surface tissue layers directly into the cells.

    3. Our laser avoids skin absorption by more than 550% and avoids blood cell absorption  by 450% over other lasers on the market.

These differences combined make this the most effective laser on the market.  We are the first in Colorado.

  • Photo-bio-modulation is a process that describes how cells take energy from photons and use it for the cell’s benefit.   Photons are delivered deep into the cells, and the cell’s quarterback, the mitochondria, decides where that energy should go.  Most of the time it's used in the mitochondria to convert the photons into  ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate); which is the energy cells use to function.  Other times the photons are used to create more hemoglobin (red blood cells), and oxi-hemoglobin (white blood cells).

  • We do not treat any areas with a device, for example pace makers, or insulin delivery.  We do not treat the eyeballs, genitals, or rectum.

  • Currently we do not accept any insurance or health-care savings plans.  We have single session options, and packages that have built in discounts.  We have a free treatment program as well which you can learn about at your session.
